Summary of the Sports Achievements
It’s been an incredible year of sport at Leechpool so far! Our pupils have shown outstanding teamwork, determination, and skill across a wide range of competitions. From our Year 5/6 football teams competing in the Premier League Primary Stars Cup and local leagues, to our netball teams going unbeaten and showcasing brilliant passing and defending. Our hockey teams have demonstrated fantastic skill and teamwork, while our dodgeball teams impressed with their quick reactions and resilience. In cross country, our athletes pushed themselves over tough 2K courses, and our swimming team finished as runners-up in a highly competitive gala. We’ve also embraced new opportunities, with incredible participation across various events, and we’re proud of the sportsmanship and effort shown by all. Plenty more to come as we continue our sporting journey this year! 💛💚
