School Times

Infants - from 8.55 am until 3 pm (6 hours and 5 minutes), with a lunch break between 12.00 noon and 1.00 pm.  A total of 30 hours and 25 minutes per week. 

Juniors - from 8.45 am until 3 pm (6 hours and 15 minutes), with a lunch break between 12.30 pm and 1.15 pm.  A typical week is 31 hours and 15 minutes - with 1 hour 15 mins per week optional - 32.5 hours

Children in Key Stage 2 should enter the school gates by themselves.

The pickup times at the end of the day for Years R, 1, 2, 3 are as follows:

Years 4, 5 and 6 leave their classrooms at 3pm.

Punctuality

The school gates will be open from 8.30 am and the inner gates will be open from 8.35 am. Pupils in years one to six can go straight to their classrooms from 8.35 and take part in independent learning activities until registration at 8.45 am for Juniors and 8.55 am for Infants.

Any child entering the school after their registration time must enter school through the main entrance and sign in at the office to ensure that records are kept up to date in case of a fire (even if your child has been at the doctor or dentist, for example).

Please contact the school before 9.00 am. to advise of any absence; a message can be left on the absence line on 01403 210 233.

Holidays or days off must be authorised beforehand by the Headteacher following completion and submission of an Absence Request Form which can be downloaded here.
